What is being said about the Fairy trail?

2020 Festival canceled and will resume May of 2021

Central Indiana Enchanted Fairy Festival will cancel for 2020 but will be back May 22nd & 23rd 2021!

Due to concerns about COVID-19, the Central Indiana Enchanted Fairy Festival 2020 is canceled.

After careful thought and deliberation in conjunction with Beasley's Orchard, Visit Hendricks County, and community input the Central Indiana Enchanted Fairy Festival board decided it would be able to not conduct the traditional festival scheduled for August 8th & 9th. Instead, we will hold a virtual festival on August 8th & 9th and will return to a traditional festival on May 22nd & 23rd 2021.

Central Indiana Enchanted Fairy Festival's Virtual Festival will have original video content, games, and links to all of the live festival vendors and performers. This will be a free virtual festival but we accept tipping to the performers (directly to their linked accounts) and contributions to the Festival COVID Relief Fund.

This Fund will help the festival recover from the financial losses due to advertising costs and moving the event to 2021. The Central Indiana Enchanted Fairy Festival funds the not for profit Enchanted Fairy Trails.

Members of the board expressed concern for public health, the financial feasibility of hosting a festival that would adhere to social-distancing protocols, and its impact on the long-term viability of the festival.

Due to the age demographics of our typical festival attendees and their families, we find it difficult to have our youngest visiter fully participate in the festival while adhering to protocols.

Our first priority is the safety of all of the people involved in the Central Indiana Enchanted Fairy Festival each year. While this is a difficult decision, we feel it is necessary to protect the festival-goers, exhibitors, volunteers, vendors, partners, performers, concessionaires, employees, and sponsors.

The financial ramifications of hosting a reduced-capacity festival would be too great as we are still a young festival and would like to be around for years to come.

Festival leaders are asking the community to stay informed through social media and the website for further updates on when the virtual festival will be available.

We look forward to seeing you at the 2021 Central Indiana Enchanted Fairy Festival (May 22-23, 2021), when it is safer for us to enjoy our fairy magic together.
